Military Shield Evaluation project

Evaluated capabilities

Technical blocks analyzed within the framework of the project. The information is for informational purposes and is based on public domain C-UAS technology; it does not describe proprietary operating systems.

Surveillance radar

X/Ku-band AESA radar with detection of low radar cross-section and low-speed targets, bird discrimination, and simultaneous tracking of dozens of traces.

Radio frequency sensor

Sweep from 70 MHz to 6 GHz to detect control and video links, with signature library and operator triangulation.

Electro-optical and infrared

Long-range daylight and cooled thermal cameras on gyro-stabilized turret for positive visual identification.

Passive acoustic

Microphone arrays for detection in urban and low-altitude environments where radar is less effective.

Fusion and command and control

Multisensor correlation, unified tracks, configurable engagement rules, and auditable logging of each decision.

AI-assisted classification

Vision and signal models to separate drone, bird, and manned aircraft, with confidence threshold and mandatory human review.

Non-kinetic effectors

Directional inhibition of control and GNSS links, controlled spoofing, and protocol-based takeover.

Kinetic effectors

Capture nets, interceptors, and point defense systems for threats not responding to inhibition.
